I have to say that my fiance and I were very nervous about shipping our two cars across the country. We had contemplated shipping our brand new Camero previously but after reading all of the horror stories, we decided to just drive it. However, this time, we absolutely had to ship the cars. So the hunt began. Mike Dakota with Capitol Auto Transport contacted me and I was so glad he did! This was the best company to work with. Mike was so honest and upfront with me about all of the charges and he addressed all of my concerns in regards to the shipping of the cars. They also only use carriers with a 90% rating or higher which made me very comfortable. He was also very flexible and accomodated us to the fullest. We had to change our pick up date a few times, and he was more than willing to help me out. We ended up using American Auto Transport, Inc. as the carrier and they were awesome!! Hovik picked up our car on time and totally worked around our schedule. The only hickup we had is when he came to pick up both cars, he could only take the Camero. He had to take them on a flatbed since we lived in LA and the large truck couldn't fit on our street. When he brought the flatbed, our other car wasn't able to be towed behind because the towing equipment wasn't the right size. But he came back first thing in the morning and picked up our Pontiac on time. Peter was the driver and boy was he awesome!! He called me as he was leaving California and he answered his cell phone each time I called him to check in. The cars were picked up on Thursday and he called me Sunday to tell me that he was already in Illinois and would deliver my cars on Monday at noon. When he called me Monday at 11:30am and said that he would be to my house in 30 minutes, he was at my house in exactly 30 minutes. The cars arrived in perfect condition although they were dirty from the rain. But that is certainly not the carriers fault or the CAT's fault. Other than that, the cars were just as we left them. I will definitley be using Capitol Auto Transport and American Auto Transport to ship my cars again and they are the ONLY company that I will use. Both companies are honest and I was always able to get a hold of someone when I called. I was beyond pleased and cannot say enough great things about CAT. THANK YOU for making my move so much easier....you totally took my worries away!!
