OK transporting a car is nerve wrecking at best and if I have to give any advice I would suggest you don't expect perfection. If you are an A-type personality who needs things to simply work as expected in life then drive the car yourself I would suggest... So with this in mind I'm delighted to say CAA did deliver our car, damage free, in a in a really quick time (4 days from Maryland to California). We were told the pickup was on the 6th March. On the 6th they told us the truck broke down and it would be another 3 days before pickup. As it turned out is was great to have our car another few days as we were due to fly on the 13th. So it was a blessing in the end. The guy who picked up our car (Jay I think) was a sweet Korean gentleman who assured me the car would be safe in his hands. All in all the exchange went well and we are happy to have our car in good condition (a little bit of fluid on the roof and unavoidable dust and dirt). I would use CAA again for sure though next time I'd allow plenty of room for maneuver as transporting cars is not a smooth operation as you might have imagined.
