Indeed, this order was scheduled on 8/3/05 and a carrier was dispatched for pickup on 8/22/05. This is not untypical for an out of the way, small town off of the interstate in Georgia going to California. This information was given to our customer and the lengthiness of obtaining a carrier was given as well. We provided current statuses to our customer, we did not give excuses. However, the status we gave was not what they wanted to hear, as we undertood. We always returned the phone calls, although during the busy time of year it took more than a few hours to do so. As a courtesty to our customer we refunded $100 of his deposit, which was discretionary due to already having dispatched a truck that was enroute to pick up his truck.
