Here is long winded story as to how I got to Carla. Basically the reviews didn't lie. After the worst experience ever with DAS Carla was an absolute dream to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to go with her again.

The vehicle I purchased was dropped off on Friday, May 6 by my father-in-law at DAS’ Aurora terminal with a scheduled delivery date of May 25. When I checked on Monday May 9 the web site said that the car had not yet been dropped off. The car was finally put into DAS’ system a few days later. Sometime in mid-May the DAS web site said my car was in Ohio. When called to ask about when it might arrive at the Burlington terminal I was informed that my car was still at Aurora terminal. During the week of May 16 the DAS web site said that the car had made it to the Linden terminal. When I inquired when it might arrive in Burlington I was told hopefully by the estimated delivery data of May 25. When I call on May 25 to inquire about the car, I was informed that the car had not be assigned to a truck but that person on other end would look into the situation and call me back. They never did and when I call the next morning I got the same person and they told me that the car would now arrive on June 2. I was then called by Burlington terminal on June 1 saying that my car had arrived. I made arrangements to have someone drive me down to pick up car the next day and in the morning I informed the Burlington terminal that I would be at their location at 9:00 am to pick up 1965 Impala. They asked if I meant the 1964 Impala. I said, “No - the green 1965 Impala SS convertible.” I was then informed that the car that was shipped to Burlington was not my car and that person at the terminal would call the dispatcher in NJ to find out where my car was. I called DAS directly to try and find out where my car was and had to wait to speak to someone for over 30 min. The person wasn’t sure what was going on but said they would call the Aurora terminal as 7:00 am CO time and then call me back. No one ever called back. Later on June 2, I called DAS again and had to wait on hold for over 40 min but finally got through. I was then informed that the car was still at the terminal in Aurora and that no truck had be assigned. I requested to speak with the person manager about the situation but the person said that the manager was not at their desk but they would have the manager call me back. The customer service person would also look into when a truck could be assigned and call me back. Neither the manger nor the customer service agent ever called me back.

I finally just had my father in law take the car from DAS. All the while I was talking to Carly who made me laugh at the whole story. In the end for about the same price and I got the car a week after it was picked up. Why I didn't go with Carla in the first place - well I know better now. Hope you will all follow my advice and stay away from DAS and give Carla a try. She was a huge help.
