I needed a VW Bug moved from Northern California to the Greater Houston area. I only had about 6 days have the car picked up due to the seller moving to another state. Plus, I needed an enclosed carrier due to the almost new condition of my auto.

I called Bullseye Auto based on the reviews I have seen on this website. I spoke with Carla on my initial phone call. She's really great to deal with, most definitely knows the auto transport business and said that even though this was kind of short notice she could get it done for me. The paperwork and charging was taken care of in less than 30 minutes! Great!

She didn't have a Bullseye truck near my pickup location, so the transport was sub contracted out to a company called "Curves Ahead" Auto Transport. Even though this was a sub contract, Carla still stayed on top of things. She gave me the cell phone number of the transport driver who was very nice to deal with. I did call him a few times and he answered the phone and was very nice to deal with.
The pickup was exactly on time! The driver scheduled the pickup for something like 1:00pm and he was there at exactly that time. Dave, the transport driver called each of the owners of each car he had in his possession every single day of the transport to tell you where he was at and when he expects to deliver your car. This was just fantastic! BTW, the seller of my car called me to tell me to take a look at the rig they use for transport. He said it was "something else!".

The delivery was a full day and a half late because an owner of a car to be picked up in the Greater Phoenix area didn't have his car prepared for transport (4 flat tires, and still in a barn!) in time for the pickup. Curves Ahead told Dave to wait for the car to be prepared. So the delay had nothing to do with Bullseye or Curves Ahead. The nice thing is that I was kept informed at all times of what was going on. I would say that this was circumstances beyond the transport companies control.

Dave called me the night before delivery and told me what time he would be dropping my car off. He arrived a little early, but that was ok. I then found out what the seller meant by the "something else" comment about the transporter. The trailer was exceptionally clean, both inside and out. The darned thing even had polished hardwood floors inside! It's a double decker unit and there is a thick layer of plastic separating the upper deck from the lower deck inside the unit. This is to prevent oil drips from the cars above dripping on the lower deck cars. Each car fits into a "rack" kind of affair and is chained down so they don't move during transport, and there is a large separation between each car so they can't possibly touch during transport. My car was on the lower deck way up in the front. It arrived here just as clean as it was when it left the seller. No damage, scratches or anything. Even though it didn't have any dust on it, Dave dusted the car off after unloading it from the truck.

And a week or so after my car arrived, I received a Thank You card from Carla. Very thoughtful!

I would not hesitate to use either Bullseye Auto Transport or Curves Ahead Auto Transport again. Both of these companies clearly know how to keep their customers happy, and they mean it!
