After the issue I had with BOSS, I called Michael at Godspeed Auto Transport. I cannot be happier with the service he provided. He was available 24/7, go the car shipped the day after I called him, gave me updates the whole way as the car traveled across the country, and did it for a very, very reasonable price. I cannot recommend enough that you give Godspeed a call.

Have you ever had that totally helpless feeling when you put your trust in someone that makes a promise to you and then you realize you were completely taken advantage of and now there is nothing you can do? If you want to have that feeling when trying to ship a car go ahead and book through Boss Auto Transport Inc. As I write this late on a Saturday night I have that feeling. My credit card has been charged, I have been promised the car would be picked up days ago, it is still sitting at the dealership, and nobody from Boss auto will answer the phone, email, or texts (supposedly they will reply to their cell phone any time).

When I first spoke with Tania about shipping my car she assured me she would get the car shipped no problem. She sounded like she knew what she was talking about and was friendly enough so I told her to see what she could get booked and get back to me on a delivery date to make sure I would be in town. A couple hours later Tania called and gave me a pick-up for Thursday and deliver for Saturday. I told her I would be out of town Saturday but could do any other day for delivery. She said no problem and that she would find someone else and get back to me that day. What I didn't know is that she had already charged my credit card. After not hearing from her that day, I called her the next day. She said she was working on it and would get back to me. A couple hours later she called back and said she could get it picked up on Friday and delivered Sunday but I would need to pay an additional $50. I reluctantly agreed and she said to pay the driver the extra $50 when he dropped the car off. She also told me she would call the dealership where my car was waiting to be picked up and coordinate the whole process. I called the dealership and told them she would be calling and the car would be picked up Friday.

Skip ahead to Friday afternoon and the dealership calls to tell me they have not heard from anyone about shipping the car and wanted to let me know they close in a few hours. Once again I call Tania and ask what is going on. She tells me the driver is running behind but he will be there. I tell the dealership this, they wait for the truck, but he never shows and they eventually have to go home. I try repeatedly to call and text Tania on her cell and get no reply. I finally text her and tell her I am going to call my credit card company to reverse the charges, inform her I would file a BBB complaint, and give her a heads up I would write this review. She immediately texts back and says her phone was dead but promised she would call me in the morning and get the car picked up the next day. Well I am sure you know how this is going to go by now: Tania never calls (I try to call and text her numerous times) and the dealership calls to tell me the truck has not shown up once again.

So here I am at midnight trying to figure out how I am going to get my car from Oklahoma to Maryland. After this experience I think I will probably just fly out and drive the car back myself. I truly pray the whole auto broker industry does not operate this way, but I can assure you Tania and BOSS Auto Transport Inc. do. I really should have done better research since the company does not even have a working website (click their link on this site). I simply got their email off of this site and didn't bother looking for their site (wow I feel dumb). Please, please do yourself a favor and find someone else to ship your car. No matter how nice BOSS sounds on the phone or what promises they make (I have them all in writing if anyone is interested), once they have your money you are completely on your own and nobody will be there when you call. Want that helpless feeling? Call BOSS Auto Transport inc. and they will leave you more helpless than you have ever been.

UPDATE
One of the senior staff at BOSS Auto contacted me today about my experience trying to ship my car using their company as a broker. The gentleman was very professional and made it clear that his staff made mistakes in failing to communicate with me. He explained that he has been out of town dealing with a family emergency and that he was unaware what had transpired with my shipment until he returned to the office today. He was very apologetic and offered to do all he could to make it right and get the vehicle shipped right away. He also reached out to the dealership where the car was to be shipped from to explain the current situation and see what he could do on his end. While I appreciate his offer to try to get the car shipped right away, I declined his assistance and informed him that I had already booked transport with a different company (I will provide a review of this company once the shipment is complete). I do believe this gentleman was genuinely concerned with what had occurred. I manage people myself, and whether we like it or not, I do understand our staff's actions are a reflection of us and our organization. I do hope that BOSS Auto Transport will work with their staff to ensure a similar situation does not occur with future customers.
