We moved Mr. Tanmoy Chatterjee’s car from Atlanta to Rosemount, MN during some of the worst winter weather you could ever imagine. Tanmoy requested that his car be picked up between Christmas and New Year. We told him to have a back up plan in case the holidays or weather became an issue. We were able to get him picked up in the first week of the following New Year. Mr. Tanmoy did nothing but complain and give the truck drivers a hard time. The first driver was not satisfactory to this customer so a second driver was necessary thus causing further delays in delivery. As much as Tanmoy would never like to work with us again – we don’t think anyone could please customer like Mr. Tanmoy. He received a very low price – his car was delivered with only a small delay – much of it caused by the holidays and his own fault not to mention the weather issues. He mentions paying extra to get the car moved in a hurry. The extra amount he paid was $25.00. When we told him about our expedite fee (normally $200.00) to help speed things up he was unwilling to pay it. He offered a small $25.00 extra thinking this would help. We told him we would do our best and we told him to anticipate delays due to the weather and the holidays. We don’t feel a Zero star rating was deserved.
