A major headache

When I initially called BlueStar, Steve was very nice and helpful and I honestly thought that moving my car would not be a headache. I was given an initial window of 7 days and BlueStar was unable to get the carrier they assigned during that window. No one came to pick up my car for almost two weeks later. If I had not been flexible with my dates this would have posed a major issue for me. I was told that there was nothing that they could do because they are not responsible for the carrier themselves and would have to leave the car with a friend or figure out some way for someone to get the car to the driver. This was not an option for me but the only thing in my favor was the fact that I did not need the car on the East Coast ASAP. Also, I was initially given a quote of $1050 and the next day my quote was raise by $100 dollars bc BlueStar said the driver could not take the car for the amount of the original quote. Blue Star also told me that I could fill the trunk of my car with 100 pounds of stuff that is not breakable or electronic, And was told that the driver does not care. Well, the driver did care and tried to charge me an extra $200 for it. The Driver of the car told me that BlueStar had no right to tell me this and that they have pulled a stunt like this before. Blue star did say they would split the cost of the extra charges with me, but I honestly feel like they were pulling a fast one by me by bringing the cost down with the carrier and making me pay the difference. Everytime I turned a corner I felt like I was being charged more and more. I don't think I would use Blue Star again, even though they told me next time I ship a car they will not charge me a broker fee....I'm sure they'll still be charging me one but claim its for the driver.
