I was told the car would be picked up on Thursday 2/14 or Friday 2/15, with an estimated delivery date of Tuesday 2/19. It was picked up on 2/14. That’s the end of the good part of the story.
No car on Tuesday, so I e-mailed Bluestar and was told it would be “by Friday”. On Thursday, the driver called and said that he would call Saturday morning to deliver later that day. No call. I called the driver and he said delivery would be Sunday evening. I had already planed to be available Tuesday, cancelled plans for Friday and cancelled them again for Saturday. I could not take delivery on Sunday, and I did not want to inspect the car in the dark. I contacted Bluestar on Monday morning and it was finally agreed that the car would be delivered later on Monday afternoon. It was delivered FILTHY, completely covered with road salt from spending 11 days riding around on the truck.
When the driver called to tell me he was close to my area, he said I needed to find a place close to my home that was large enough to park an 80-foot truck and move cars around to get my vehicle off. When I met him at the agreed upon area, he told me that “door to door” service promised by Bluestar was not possible because his truck was too big. Quote " I don't know why they tell people door to door. The truck is just too big". He then drove an uninsured, unregistered vehicle 7 miles to my home because I refused to do it.
Bluestar is great until they have your money and your car. Then, the “estimates” are nowhere near accurate and “door to door” is simply untrue unless you live on a freeway exit ramp. I would never use Bluestar again. The car was delivered without major damage. That’s the best I can say about them. NOT RECOMMENDED

This time of the year weather plays a major factor in regards to transit times. We never guarantee transit times and we always educate our clients on the possibilities. We assigned Best Way Transport to transport his vehicle as he requested. They signed for pick up on 2/14 and delivery by 2/19. They picked up his vehicle on time as contracted for but unfortunately were delayed in transit do to the weather. As the customer described his car was delivered damage free but 5 days later than anticipated. The driver from Best claims that he tried to deliver the vehicle sooner but the customer could not arrange to meet him. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused Mr Grant and we did everything in our power to deliver his vehicle as smoothly as possible. Delays occur and they are beyond anyones control sometimes but we are always here to answer any questions and resolve any situations that may arise. We always communicated with Mr Grant and he was always aware as of the status of his move.
