I thought putting a car on a trailer and moving it to another state was a fairly straightforward thing to do. First off, the van was left parked at a trucking depot for a couple of weeks. I guess that has to happen sometimes. The first guy who picked it up had his truck break down. So did the second guy. Of course, no one bothered to tell me this. I called to ask where my van was, and got a rude brush-off. I called again in a few days and had better results because I just tried to be extremely nice and understanding with the lady on the phone, who obviously had no control over what the truckers were having trouble with or what they were doing. After waiting for a transmission overhaul in the second truck (a week or two, if I recall), I was told they would be on their way shortly. When they finally arrived, I am greeted by rude and disgruntled truckers.

Bottom line: There is a trend here toward unreliable trucks, slow service, and frustrated and rude people. I end up having to play the part of the "nice guy" just to get close to the service I paid for. Pretty pathetic all around. Find someone else.
