Do not use Big Brother Transporters. I have moved cross country and used auto transporters 4 times with good to excellent service using other carriers. I went online for my most recent move and got several estimates and delivery date ranges from about 6 carriers. At first contact with Big Brother they appeared to be fairly organized in their pick up strategy and delivery execution. This, however, was not the case. I dealt with Cathy, who quickly took my $185 down payment. I gave her a generous window of pickup of approx 2 weeks prior to our move. She told me there would be no problem completing this. She was not able to find a driver to pick the car up prior to us having to move. Fortunately, I had a friend with whom I was able to leave the car for pick up. They, at one point, called her at work and asked her if she could leave work to have the car picked up. This is impossible for anyone to do with no advance warning. The car was finally picked up 2 weeks after the latest which the car was promised to be picked up, thus delivered 2 weeks overdue to my final destination.
This was not only aggravating, but when I attempted to retrieve information about the transport, the dispatcher was rude and asked me "have you ever transported a car before?". The entire fiasco came to a head when they told me the car could not be picked up without me paying an additional $75 to make the pick up more "appealing" to a driver (even though I had been given a contracted estimate).
I was promised that half of the increase in cost would be covered by Big Brother and refunded to me; this never happened. I am still waiting for the money to be refunded one month later.
The drivers contracted by Big Brother did deliver my car intact. This was the only positive part of the situation. I was lucky to have driven my other car to my final destination, otherwise I would have had no transportation for two weeks.
It is to be realized that auto transport businesses have certain windows in which they operate. This extremely poor service far exceeded the windows in which service was promised. Big Brother is a very untrustworthy transporter.

We are very sorry Jason feels that we deserve a zero star review. In this case the customer was unable to meet with the first truck we dispatched. Normally we allow 5-7 days to get a truck to your location. If we have to send a second truck out it will most likely be in that time frame as well, causing a delay.(ie. 2trucks/2 weeks) We did everything we could to get the job done as quickly as possible under the circumstances. We did raise the cod to help get the car picked up faster since it was obvious Jason and his wife were becoming increasingly anxious. We also did offer to split the difference and the $35 has been refunded to the customer. Again we are sorry that the customer experienced inconvenience, but in this industry there is always the possibility of a delay for one reason or another, thus, no guaranteed pick up or delivery dates. We feel that even though there was a delay the car did arrive safe and sound so Worst Transport Ever just seems a bit unfair.
