I placed an order and paid the upfront $150 deposit to have my vehicle available for shipping starting on 03/07. I was told that Better Way would find a shipper within 3-5 days, guaranteed and that they would contact me as as soon as they found one. They convinced me, initially, that my route had many trucks leaving every day and finding a driver should quick and easy. I let a full 10 days pass and did not hear from them once. I finally called them to assess the situation and they told me they would look into it. Not getting the sense they were on top of my order, I asked them to simply cancel my order and refund my deposit. I found another carrier within a few days and had the vehicle at the destination in less than a week after I canceled my order with Better Way. Incidentally, they told me my refund check would be mailed out the very next week. I never received it. I've called 6 times since to ask when I should expect it and each time they said it will be mailed the following week. That was 6 weeks ago... still no refund. This company has horrible customer service. Not a single communication was initiated from them to me after I gave them the initial deposit. I would be highly suspicious of any positive reviews of this company on this website. They look like plants to me. If you're looking for a vehicle transporter, my advice would be to due your homework and find a real company that is reputable, even if it costs a little more. The added expense will be well worth the aggravation saved.
