Auto Star Transport is the trucking company than my usual broker set me up with. They picked up the car about a day late, though that was not a real problem. After they picked it up I was unable to contact them at all for over two weeks. I did not find out when they were leaving or who the driver was until the day before they were to delivery the vehicle. They finally called me to tell to say they couldn't contact my customer in Kentucky. I got he driver's name and number and told them I would let my customer know. I gave this info to my customer who tried to call both the driver and the dispatcher several times. She also left them the number of the person who would take delivery. Two days later she finally got in touch with the company dispatcher who stated that since they couldn't contact her, they dropped the car off over 30 minutes away from her and that she would have to pay for the transport plus storage before she could get her vehicle.

My broker and I, as well as my customer all tried to contact both the driver and the company for days without success until it was too late.

I have shipped over 20 cars in the last 3-4 years and this is the worst transporter I have ever come across. Extremely poor or non-existent communication, complete contempt for the customer and incompetent behavior by their staff and drivers. My customer is furious and my broker has put them on their "do not use" list.

Again, this is one of the two worst trucking companies I have ever used.
