I had specifically called and asked how much extra weight we were allowed to store in the vehicle and was told 100lbs. of stuff, as the site also states. However, when the trucker came to pick up my vehicle, he was telling me I wasn't allowed to have extra weight in the vehicle. When I tried saying the broker said it was ok, he told me that the brokers aren't the one's actually picking up the vehicle so they offer you whatever you want to get you to do business with them. Extra weight in the vehicles means he would then need to pay extra for his own truck being overweight when crossing state lines. As such it would cost an additional $150 for the additional weight in my vehicle. An awkward situation for the both of us...

We do not tell customers what they want to hear in order to get the business, we tell them the truth even if sometimes it means loosing that order. There are very fe drivers that do not allow belongings in the car, as long as these weigh under 100 lbs. In case a driver shows up at your house and says that there will be an extra charge for the belongings please call us a we will clarify the situation.
