DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We signed up to use Best Direct because Jim gave us the lowest quote. He required we pay a $199 deposit before he even secured a driver. We signed up with him on March 10th with an agreed pick up date of March 24th or 25th. As of the day of our move, March 25th, we still had not heard from Jim. So we tried multiple times to call/email him. Never heard from him. A dispatch person called us the night of the 25th and said they would call us back within 48 hours. Again, no reply. Finally got an email from him on 3/27 saying he was working on securing a driver and will be back in touch in 48hrs. Shocker, 48hr came and went, after multiple calls and emails, he replied to the email on 3/30 and said the same thing...securing a driver will be in touch within 48 hrs, again 2 weeks have gone by and NOTHING. This man is a scheister and scam artist. We found out from King of the Road that our bid was too low and that Jim was upping the price on the job board just to get a driver...and didn't tell us this. We also found out that most reputable companies do not require a deposit until the car is picked up. We are disheartened that this type of man is allowed to work, as other reviews indicate he takes your money and runs. So now you should too, STAY AWARE FROM BEST DIRECT
