My car was in the backwoods of Kentucky, in the middle of nowhere, near a national park. I submitted my bid for pickup to one of the largest and most used brokers in the business and while that broker was extremely nice and genuinely helpful, they were unable to get my car picked up from such a remote location for over a week. After waiting that week out with them I finally decided to talk to some more brokers.

I contacted Alex at Best Choice purely by coincidence (basically picking brokers out of thin air to try) and he immediately told me that he loved doing "difficult location pickup" and that they were his specialty. Well as you can imagine I took that to be a lot of hot air at first, but Alex ask me to let him look into it and call me back in a few hours with a plan, I agreed and we hung up without him ever asking me for a penny.

A few hours later Alex called me back and told me that he had an unconventional plan, he was going to use two separate transports to get my car to me in a two-stage shipment. First he was going to have the car moved out of the backwoods of Kentucky to a larger city and from there have it delivered to me. Alex said that the reason my car wasn't getting moved was because most trucks going east to west didn't go anywhere near where my car was but that a lot of trucks going west to east did, so he was going to have an eastbound truck pickup my car and move it to Nashville (a hundred miles or so in the wrong direction but a popular stop for westbound truckers) and then moved from there to me in Texas.

I was skeptical at first and very concerned with the unusual nature of this plan, it seemed complicated and I had several concerns (like chain of custody of my car) but in the end I went ahead and gave Alex permission to try it.

All told the plan Alex came up with ended up costing me about $200 more than a lot of other brokers claimed they would charge me, but then again those other brokers couldn't actually get my damn car picked up, with Alex I paid more but I had my car 4 days later so I was happy to pay the extra cost.

As I'm sure you have gathered from my review, I was very happy with Alex and Best Choice and would definitely use them again in the future, I've also give them the maximum 5 star rating. I will, however, caution anyone planning to use them about one thing: The communication isn't the best. Alex owns and operates Best Choice and is a busy guy and while he does exactly what he promises you and he does it fast, if you're a nervous wreck about shipping your car like I was (a pristine 1967 Camaro and my first ever shipped car) you're going to wish his communication was a little better. It was mostly left up to me to call/email for followup information and reports on the current status of the pickup/dropoff. Alex was always polite and never seemed putout or annoyed by my calls but I do wish he would have called me instead of leaving it to me to call him. It's a small complaint and my only one and definitely NOT a reason to avoid Best Choice.

Great job, very happy, thanks a lot Alex!
