I contacted Frank at Bear's in a state of confusion, as I needed to transport my vehicle from the Western Suburbs of Chicago to Pleasanton, CA as quickly as possible and had never done it before. The reason I chose Bear's was because Frank was the most candid and knowledgeable of all of the companies I talked to. He was a little rough around the edges, but very sincere.

My truck was picked up 2 days earlier than I requested, which was inconvenient, but I was grateful to start ahead of schedule rather than later than I wanted. The service cost $100.00 more than I was quoted (quoted $800.00, paid $900.00), but I didn't have any choice and had to pay. I was also told that I wouldn't receive my truck until 3 days later than I had hoped. I wanted the truck on Monday, 4/25, but was told I couldn't get it until Thursday, 4/28.

I wasn't scheduled to arrive in the Bay Area until 4/25, but got a call on Saturday, 4/23, that I should come and pick up my truck. The truck driver was friendly though and we arranged to do the pick up on Monday, 4/25. The driver wanted me to pick up the truck in Millbrae instead of Pleasanton which was a little inconvenient, but it still worked out well.

The truck was dirty and I suspect someone had driven it, since it was dirty inside, there was additional mileage on it and I found a couple french fries and a straw on the floor of the truck, but it was in good shape outside.

I recommend Bear's to anyone who needs to get a vehicle from Point A to Point B reliably.

Bears worked with you at a lower price to work within your budget - the difference that you paid was requested from the carrier that was doing this route and we presented it to you with no obligation. Bears Transport does not receive any payments until a customer has accepted and agreed.
