Bears came recommended by a new car dealer in Ketchum, ID on Friday. On Saturday I contacted Bears. In spite of it being Easter weekend Bears was very helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. It is however necessary to have access to a fax machine to send and receive a contract (although a scanner might do it). My order was handle promptly and professionally. I was pleasantly surprised by the full disclosure on all counts. There were a few issues with language barriers and the quality of the phone connection when dealing with the trucker but in all it worked well.

I met the trucker early Monday morning in a cinema parking lot in Boise near the airport so I could catch a plane home. The driver loaded the vehicle and departed about 8am local time.

I flew to Boston on Tuesday and after I landed the trucker called to say he would be in the Boston area Wednesday morning. We agreed on a meeting place (I live on an island so he sure wasn't going to meet me there). He arrived on time, I paid him for the transport, and all was done until I noticed a crack in my windshield which on close examination probably came from a pre-existing stone chip that grew during transport. Both the driver and Bears were helpful in trying to see if their insurance would cover it. Didn't happen, but I didn't expect it.

Boise to Boston in roughly 51 hours. Better than driving it myself ! After hearing a lot of horror stories about other brokers and truckers I was very pleased and recommend Bears Transport. It really pays to deal with someone who knows how to broker a deal.
