Bears Transport had good reviews so I thought it was a good bet. I was quoted $525.00, which was higher than quite a few other companies, but I thought it would be worry free. I was wrong.

First, I was never contacted and it was 2 days before my scheduled ship date so I had to call them and they informed me they would be calling me soon. The day before the scheduled pickup, Liz informed me that the only way they could get the car out was if I paid an extra $100.00. I needed the car shipped right away, so I had no choice.

The driver who came couldn't find my house, so we had to drive 30 minutes away to get him and bring him to our house. He was angry that he got lost and rude. Furthermore, his truck was a complete junk and absolutely falling apart.

Then he finally showed up to deliver the car and once again had no idea where he was going. I just moved to SC and he expected me to give him direction from wherever he was. I told him I had no idea about the area but he refused to ask for directions at a gas station or anywhere nearby. I had to find my landlord and she had to call a friend to find out where exactly he was and how to get him to my house.

Finally, I got my car in one piece, but it was an absolute disaster. Liz was very nice, but the company needs to stand behind their quotes and not rip people off. They also need to find better truckers. I would definitely not do business with them again and would suggest you use a bigger company that is well rated.

We are very disappointed that Brent's transport turned out as such. Brent's moving date was unfortunately a risky situation due to the high season of snow birds. We knew that we may be taking a risk still trying to get the lesser rate for him from North to South at the end of May- which is a highly discounted route for the season. Unfortunately Brent's vehicle did not make the cut off that we expected it to and therefore had to meet the price of the market for that time. We do apologize and tried to reconcile with him- with no response. As far as the driver not being familiar with the area , he may have been a new driver and had we been aware of the situation we could have informed him better for his destination. We will take this into consideration next time for the carrier company that we provided. We pride ourselves in customer service and hope that Brent would consider our reconcile efforts and think of us in the future.
