I wish I had found these reviews before I placed an order with this 3rd rate outfit. All the negatives read here happened to me as well. Rude and unprofessional, phone calls and email go unanswered, a complete joke. I can only hope this place goes under sooner than later so nobody else wastes their time and money.
Ordered a transport from Iowa to Seattle and they suggested I pay an extra $100 to speed the pickup (which is standard practice). I agreed and put a deposit down toward a $950 job. I was told that a pickup was scheduled for 2 days out since they found a truck going through that area. Great! Waited to hear, waited... Called 3 days later, left a message and did not get a call back. Sent an email and heard nothing. After calling many times over 2 days I got through and was told "sorry that trucker changed his plans and now we are just waiting for someone else to take the job". Canceled the order on the spot and asked for a refund of my deposit and was hung up on. I now have a dispute going with my credit card company to get my money back from these jokers.
After reading many good reviews here I called Specialty Mobile Systems and spoke with Don who was super helpful and informative. 2 days later they had my car picked up and it is now on it's way with daily phone updates from the driver. Same price quoted as BT. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
