First I thought I was shipping with ABC Carriers, that was the name of the company that I initially dealt with. It turns out that it was Available Logistics. So who knows how many names this company works under. They basically give you a low quote and give you incentive to work with them by giving you an extra $50 dollars. They make you give a $170 deposit and then they outsource to an independent driver. At this point, they could careless how much you pay and your initial quote is out the window. They have got your car so they know you are going to pay. Watch out because they will tack on all these sneaky extra charges. I was quoted $630, and that the deposit went towards the total. Meaning I was only suppose to pay $460 when the car arrived. When our driver arrived he needed $800 dollars. Available Logistics said I received an email with the total the day before the car arrived. I didn't receive it because I thought I was working with a company called ABC Carriers. And, regardless what does this do for me - so you raised the price that you quoted me once you have my car. They also hung up on us many times because they didn't want to listen to our complaints. This is a scam. I suggest to anyone looking to ship their car to just go with more expensive options and read the reviews. I was very uneasy of this company when I thought it was ABC Carriers because of the bad reviews and similar situations. I should of just went with my instincts.
