My car broke down in PA and I needed it towed home to VA. I called on Monday 8-3-15 and talked to Ross (the owner's son) he promised me that they could move my car that day or first thing the next morning. I really needed my car home in a timely manner and it was nonoperational.
I sent an email on 8-4-15 in the morning asking about the status of my car and got no response. I called later that day and talked to Ross, finally he sent a email with a pickup date of 8-4-15 & delivery date of 8-6-15.
On Wednesday 8-5-15 they charged my card for $250.00. I thought, "Great! My car was picked up!" (When in reality it wasn't).
Come Thursday, still no car or any info on the car....Friday morning 8-7-15 I called the towed truck driver and he told me that he was very clear to Ross that my car wouldn't be picked up until Thursday or Friday. Ross was lying to me about the pick up date from the start.
Come Monday 8-10-15 still no car, email or phone call regarding the status of my vehicle.
I called the truck driver and he cancelled the order on Friday. Wtf...no one told me. I got a hold of Ross and he was scheduling a new truck. I told him I didn't want to use his business anymore because he hadn't moved my car like he promised a whole week ago. He said he didn't understand why I wanted to cancel. I went over all the craziness of the week before and the lack of information from them on why my car was still sitting in PA. He was giving me the run around on canceling and basically refused to call off the driver.
I called the driver and told him I was trying to cancel the order with auto transport. He told me that would be fine and to let him know if I was successful in the cancellation. I tried relentlessly to get in touch with Ross, and he kept avoiding my calls/messages. I could never get Ross to cancel the order. The tow truck showed up to load the car BUT he couldn't because Ross failed to tell him it was in-operational. He couldn't load the car because he had a trailer and not a rollback. Thus, the driver had to cancel the pick up with Ross.
I called Ross about this incident and asked for a refund because he failed again on getting the car towed. Everybody I spoke to gave me the run around and would say "We don't understand why you are dissatisfied".
I had to hire someone else to tow the vehicle. As of now 8-18-15, I am still trying to get compensated for my reservation fee. I have a bunch of conversation I will post later...which includes them blocking my number.
I am also filing a lawsuit and police report and encourage everyone to do the same.
This is crazy!!
