This was the first time I have ever shipped a car. After getting open carrier quotes from $700-$1100, I figured I might as well get an enclosed shipping quote. The Quotes were from $1290 - $1700. I check this site for reviews, and was please when I saw that Autobahn had good reviews, and gave me the best quote.

I called them on Tuesday morning. They picked the car up Wednesday morning from Ft. Lauderdale. I was not there for the pick-up, but my friend was and he was impressed with their promptness. The entire process was fairly smooth. The car was delivered to me 8 days later on a Thursday night near Detroit. It would have gotten to me sooner, but they had problems with a truck, and had to switch trucks in Chicago. Overall, the transaction went well. The car was delivered in the great condition. Being that it was a high value car, I was very anxious during the 8 days of delivery time. I was a little weary after hearing that it would have to change trucks, but I am happy with their service.

Their driver took the wrong exit at one point, and I had to try to direct them back onto the correct highway over the phone. I think their logistics could use a slight tweaking. Especially with all the online and GPS tools available these days, no truck driver should make a wrong turn again.

But a Thumbs up to Autobahn...thanks Sam, Tom, Wally, and everyone else that helped.
