Issue I : What is the most cost effective way for a passenger vehicle to begin at 'Point A' (Atlanta, GA) and end at 'Point B' (Vancouver, Washington)? As a confessed novice to this problem, I began by estimating mileage costs, driving times, meals, motels, the result of adding additional mileage to a 'road-worthy' vehicle (i.e., 138,000 miles). plus a one-way return airfare ticket....this number represented my 'standard.'

Next, I began a general web search for companies whose primary function is to transport autos from one location to another.....trust me, there are many !!.......most with an email response that was almost immediate along with a dollar estimate for this service. This cost, however, was later found to be a beginning number until a 'final' number could be calculated......always much higher.....

Issue II : How does one begin the selection process of all of these companies, especially without a prior reference point? One of the companies, AutoZipper, represented by Brian Cronin, suggested using the Better Business Bureau web page.........what a great idea!!!.......I always use this for service and products anyway. Anyone willing to offer this option to a potential client probably had nothing to 'hide!'

Conclusion: Brian explained the process including names of contacts, dates for pickup and delivery, a number to call for tracking of my vehicle along the journey, and, most important, never altered the price originally quoted ....i.e., transaction completed as detailed........... In today's business climate, what more could you want ??........
