I am in the process of relocating to the east coast, to be precise, Atlanta, GA. I had gotten all the necessary moving arrangement completed and things went as planned until my car shipper informed me that my two cars had not been assigned and there was a risk the cars would not be picked up with the allotted time frame. Since this was not the first time I had used this shipper and the contract also stated that there is a 10% chance the car may not be picked within the allotted time frame, I did not think much of it and still had hope the cars would be picked up within the allotted time since I had already made my flight reservations - this was Thursday, April 01 when all this occurred and the pick up window was through Sunday, April 04. By Saturday, things were still in the wait and see mode and I proceeded to panic... I had a really tight time line since I had to resume work on Tuesday, April 6th. I light of my predicament I decided to sell both cars... However, after much discussion with my partner, we decided to sell one of the cars and keep the other in hopes that it would be easier to get a transport company to ship one versus two cars. This of course did not work and to cut a long story short, by Monday, April 5th, I had to move into a hotel and find a way to get the car to Atlanta or ultimately decide to sell the car... Then came Malia to the rescue. By some stroke of luck I decided to call the Auto Shipping Group in San Diego and Malia quickly jumped on the issue and made moves to help me secure a shipper within less than an hour!!! I thought it was to good to be true until the transporter Demetri called me and told me he was 40 mins away, YES, 40 mins away... So I went from being despondent and lost to okay get everything together book your flight you are heading to Atlanta! To ALL the Malia's out there who work tirelessly to bring a smile to someone's face or help them through very dire situations, I take my hat off and salute you, for on April 5th 2021, I again now believe in superheros. muchas gracias Malia!!!
