After having initially booked with another company and got zero response from them, I reached out to ASG and Felicia. I needed my car picking up on 6/29 from WA and delivering to WI on 7/8, which Felicia said was fine - "they have carriers going that way all the time." I get a call on 6/29 to say they have a carrier, but have to deliver the car on 7/3, which did not work for us as we were road-tripping from WA to WI and wouldn't get there in time to collect it. We were forced to then have to make alternative storage arrangements for the car until ASG could find another carrier. The car was finally picked up on 7/8 (10 days later than requested) and delivered on 7/13 by USL LLC. The actual carrier (Vlad) was great. very communicative and the car was delivered OK except for the oil covering the roof and hood from the car stored above it. Note to self: Request top storage next time! Original quote from ASG was $995 but ended up being $1326 because according to Felicia, "the carrier was demanding more." She told me that if I declined this carrier, she did not know when they would be able to assign another. Having little option, we accepted the bid and paid the additional money. It felt like we were told what we wanted to hear to get us to sign up with ASG, then our needs were ignored. If asked for feedback, I would not recommend this broker but would absolutely use the carrier again.

To make a long story short here's what happened. Andy placed the reservation online from the computer generated quote which is a service for someone focused on ‘Price’ vs Itinerary. The standard open service price was $1195. ASG’s fee from $1195 total was $250 which left $945 to the carrier. The expedited shipping service was the service you really needed. The Expedited open quote was quoted at $1559. The route you were shipping your large suv on was rural logistically You needed door to door service from pick up in Fall City, Wi and Delivery to Oregon Wa which around a 2100 mile run. You set up two orders with ASG for the same vehicle which was confusing. Lance and Felicia were the representatives assigned. Your order was the only order showing available within 100 miles or another order in the entire country. ASG has relationships with carriers all over the country. Shipping your vehicle from WA to WI states was a rural route not metropolitan. This was the reasoning for the delay w/ the 1st broker you hired securing a carrier for two weeks. Our dispatch established availability with USL Just 3vdaysvafter the ready date. The carrier counter offered needing $1076 carrier fee and the $250 admin fee= $1326 total. You had the option to decline the carriers counter offer. ASG hadn’t charged any $ for the dispatching service. You signed our terms and conditions before pick up. ASG charged the $250 on your credit card on the day of pick up like agreed. In summary expedited shipping is a premium service. ASG’s fee never changed. We did the very best we could to pick up the pieces and get a driver despite of Covid-19 and riots going on this this country. Your vehicle picked up on 7/8 and delivered on 7/15 for $1076 carrier fee which was best rate for your budget and No damage. The carrier fee you handed directly to the driver (Vlad) on delivery when the service was complete was the rate you agreed to pay the carrier before pick up when the order was dispatched. We updated you before after and through delivery as agreed.
