Transporting Can Am Spyder from Maine to Virginia

I recently purchased a 2013 Can Am Spyder from a friend in Maine. Prior to the Corona outbreak, I foolishly thought I would rent a trailer and tow it back myself. THEN, the world turned upside down. I started looking for car transport companies and nearly fell over when the estimates for the 855 mile trip from Maine to Virginia came back somewhere between $1375 and $1800. Finally, my friend recommended I contact American Shipping Group and around 3 p.m. on a Tuesday I was connected with the 8th Wonder of the World: Felicia. She took my information, I paid the administrative fee, and then sat back and wondered how many weeks it would take to get my Spyder home. At 6:50 THE NEXT NIGHT (!), Felicia called and said she had a driver who could pick up my bike in Maine and have it down by Thursday evening. After making sure the bike had been picked up, Felicia kept me updated during the entire trip south, and even sent me a picture of my new ride that the driver had taken. The bike arrived in PERFECT condition. The driver offloaded it from the carrier before he even rang my doorbell. The entire transaction was completed within 10 minutes and the total cost came to: $645. It was a pleasure doing business with ASG, mainly because of the level of customer service I received from Felicia. Even with the craziness of business shut downs, quarantines, etc., Felicia made certain that I stayed well-informed of the entire process, from start to finish. Her commitment to her customers is a model that other businesses arranging complex procedures for clientele could learn something from. Thanks again for a PAINLESS experience- Felicia, you ROCK!
