I had been planning to ship my Ford Ranger to my grandson for some time. When I was ready, I made some inquiries and received about 15 quotes from all over the country. I had heard horror stories and was quite concerned that I would get scammed, overcharged, or the truck would end up somewhere but where I needed it to go. The truck would go from Virginia to Texas. After do much of my own research, I decided to go with the Auto Shipping Group. Reasons: although they were not the least expensive, nor the most expensive I relied heavily on the BBB accredited rating A+ which is current. Other company's say they are accredited but are really not. Do you your own research you can check that out. Anyways, I contacted ASG based on the reviews and rating and Kimberly took care of everything. I was flexible on the ship date but it had to be out by the end of June. Once I agreed to use ASG...Kimberly took care to communicate the process, send my notifications, and quote me the cost. A couple days later she was able to find a shipper, but the courier wanted 35 dollars more, which I agreed because he was in the area and needed the space filled on his carrier. To my surprise when he arrived it was a closed carrier and he was willing to take it to Texas. I met him in a nearby parking lot, (I live on a culdesac) and he was able to load the truck. He promised to have it there in two days. Picked up on Thursday it arrived on Saturday evening. The driver was pleasant and delivered as promised. Kimberly helped to secure an excellent carrier and I was very happy that I chose ASG. My goal was to get the truck my grandson with no stress and honesty from the broker and carrier. Both expectations were met. I would recommend if this is your first time shipping a vehicle, use ASG. There are to many carriers and to many ways to get scammed, but you won't with ASG. Thank you Kimberly for the excellent service and help in getting the truck to my grandson safely and on time! Thank you.
