Shipping an electric ATV from the middle of nowhere.

I live in Oregon near the Columbia River east of Portland on forested property where I work and play. My diesel Gator is a gallant workhorse, but for playing I wanted a quiet vehicle with no fumes, that is; electric. There is a growing interest in electric ATVs, but none of the ATV dealers in my area carry electrics. If I wanted to try one, I had to buy it. Researching, I found that Intimidator (lousy name) has an electric model that looked suitable. It's made in Alabama, but would not ship directly from the factory to me. The nearest dealers are in Montana, so I called them. The first to actually answer the phone is in Miles City, in remote Eastern Montana. They would order it for me and get it to their shop, but would not deal with shipping it to Oregon. I knew nothing about the world of private shipping, and felt a little intimidated (that word again) by the array of auto transport services that I found on line. I called a few. I left messages. But when I called Auto Shipping Group Gretchen picked up, listened to my story, and answered all of my questions. Mine wasn't an easy project for Gretchen. Miles City is not near anything else; and far from any well traveled highways. It took a while... longer than either Gretchen or I had anticipated. Twice we came close to getting a driver, but were edged out by someone else, frustrating us both. But Gretchen picked up every time I called her number; always polite, friendly and helpful. She seemed as happy as I was when a driver from Florida, made the effort to drive to nowhere and bring me my new rig. If I ever have to ship another vehicle, Gretchen at Auto Shipping Group will be my first call. Thanks Gretchen
