Long Box Crew Cab Diesel hauled from MD to CO.

Had a long box crew cab diesel hauled from Clarksville MD to Craig CO.Picked truck up 90 miles south of Craig in Rifle Co along interstate because no driver wanted to run to Craig. Total cost was $1850 to Rifle. First driver that ASG assigned to the haul couldn't fit the truck on his trailer. A week later second driver showed up and was able to handle vehicle. Total process took almost three weeks, which was a bit slower than I had hoped for, but it worked out. I had assumed that the truckers would be hauling my vehicle with a Semi Truck. Driver actually had a gooseneck car-hauler trailer hooked to a dodge 3500. That was fine, just surprising to me. He had my truck tied down properly with tire straps and he was a nice enough guy, and I was just glad to get the truck safe and in good shape. Stephanie was my agent. She is 100% honest and straight forward. I recommend her to anyone shipping. She knows this business and was super good about explaining the process. You must go into this realizing that if you are in a rural area, drivers are a bit picky about not running beyond a big city to deliver your vehicle, and they are especially picky about not getting off the interstate system. Frustrating, but its the business. There are a lot of shady drivers sending weird texts to you, so and shady brokers sending weird texts to you when you get on line. Just find a good solid company like ASG and stick with them and avoid all sideline offers you get. I asked my broker if they knew the driver or the company as they brought me offers. Unless you are going from big city to big city, don't expect quick results, and be prepared to pay a couple hundred more than the estimate if you are outside the big cities of this country.
