Follow up comments: Please also check YELP reviews on this company. As manifested in their reply below, I received numerous excuses after another and I feel their apology is not a true apology. The dispatcher was not available the day before my car was supposed to be picked up and I was desperately trying to reach someone as I was told someone would call me the day before. I wasted a lot of time calling around and to no avail. My car also didn’t arrive until close to a week after the last deliverable date which meant I lost a whole week without a vehicle although they state it was picked up 4 days later. I started a new job and had to find other means to get around which ended up costing me even more money. Additionally, auto shipping group states that my pick up date was on a Saturday which made it hard for them to call the dispatch department but I DID NOT choose a Saturday for my car to be picked up. This was a suggestion by Auto Shipping group which I complied with. Additionally, when I was trying to figure out why I was never called, I was told someone called my number prior to my move (which they thought was no longer in service) but I received absolutely no missed calls on that number, so someone was lying to me. I cannot recommend a company that cannot even be honest with me. In addition to their excuses and mistakes, I received absolutely no compensation for my lost time. It also states in the reply that I declined delivery 2 days earlier but for a higher COST because this company didn’t get my car onto the truck with the date they promised in the first place and why should the customer pay for their MISTAKE? I’m baffled by their excuses and yes, they tried to solve it after the fact that they already made numerous mistakes and excuses.

If you want the job done on time and correctly the first time, please look elsewhere. I feel their reply below is not a real apology as it just showcases what they did to mitigate their poor customer service. It’s a relief I had friends to rely on, because if you only have yourself when shipping your vehicle, PLEASE do not book with this company as your car may never get there.


Terrible company. They email asking if you liked their service. If you click "no" it doesn't link you to a review but if you click "yes", it allows you to do a quick link into google reviews, yellow pages and this website. Well, I did NOT like their service. They were late and I was without a car for over a week. Do not trust the date they give you as the date they will pick up the car and especially if you are expecting your car to be somewhere by a certain date. It just won't happen with this company. Also, when you call and try to get hold of someone, they only answer when their schedule allows. I would never recommend this company. Take your hard earned money elsewhere!

First I want to apologize to you JM. I am sorry for the turn of events leading up to this car being picked up and delivered 4 days late. Mechanical failure is never a foreseeable event but it is explained while things like this don't happen often there is a chance of this happening. The carrier was quick to get another truck to pick up the loads and get on the road asap. I realize it did make a hardship for you and I am thankful you had friends who could help out. Your pickup date was on a Saturday and yes most dispatchers are not working on the weekend which made it hard for us to make contact with the company to see what happened. On Monday I was able contact the dispatch department where they advised me they had a truck go out of commission while on the road and they did apologize as they thought the driver had contacted all of his pickups. They advised they would still pickup pickup but they had to wait for another truck coming in from the East and it was in the process of unloading and not able to pickup your car until 6/14. I called other companies to see if we could get another truck and we did find one that was priced higher. I called you informing you of the cost and they could deliver 2 days earlier but you declined stating that it was only a couple days. I also called your contact letting her know we would work around her schedule and we didn't want to inconvenience anyone by asking them to sit by a phone all day. I did confirm the driver picked the car up and maintained contact with you regarding the delivery of the vehicle. The driver called you the day before delivery and I talked to you on the day of delivery. I am sorry the carrier broke down and it caused you a hardship but thankful your car was delivered in the exact same shape you left it in. Brenda Romine 360.255.7438
