The broker, Melissa Fowler was excellent to deal with during the process. She kept me informed of the status throughout the process.

I did not rate the company excellent because the quote that was provided three weeks prior to the car being picked up was considerately lower than the final price. The initial quote was $1145 to ship this car. The final price was $1670. I was informed two days before the car was to ship that no carrier was accepting the work because the quote was too low. The recommendation was to raise the offer to attract a carrier. Again, a carrier was not located. The offer had to be raised again to finally attract a carrier. I wish that I had been given an quote that was closer to the real price so I could better plan.

The disadvantage of trying to get a lower quote is sometimes it is more in the end. It is very difficult to know what a carrier will charge until they call. Precisely why there are so many brokers out there. Those of us that car and with you from beginning to and end and do everything we can to make it a smoother process. I am very sorry that I was not initially able to help you budget better.
