I had my car moved across country as part of a relocation package. The car was picked up from the dealer as a certified used car. The car had a few scratches or scuffs on it (door handle, front bumper and tiny one on hood). When it arrived the 5 body panels had multiple scratches and the tail light had obviously fresh scratches. The scratches had been filled in with touch up paint that didn't exactly match and wasn't smooth on the surface. They never gave the dealer, my agent, a copy of the damage form and neither party dated the forms. Of course they show scratches all over the car, again it is a certified car which has to be showroom quality. They have denied my claim based on the documentation and I'm in the process of suing them for significantly more than the minimum repair estimate of $1500. These guys have no intention of working with you nor do they carry adequate insurance, which is why they flat out deny claims and hope that you will just go away.

An origin inspection report was done when the vehicle was picked up from the dealer. This transferee never saw this vehicle prior to purchasing it. The inspection that was completed listed all of these areas as scratched. The dealer signed our inspection report agreeing that this damage was there when we picked it up. We carry $100,000 worth of Contingent Cargo liability. All legitimate claims are settled.
