I was travelling out of the country while I had my car shipped from Ohio to Arizona. I asked if I could pay the whole amount upfront instead of having the person who received the car pay the money to the truck driver on delivery. Auto Central Direct charged me $675 and an extra $ 20 as a handling fee to pay the money to the driver.
The money was not paid to the driver and the driver is now taking us to court. As Auto Central Direct signed a "cash on delivery" contract with the driver.
I tried contacting Auto Central Direct, but they keep forwarding my calls and do not return messages. The truck driver also tried to contact them but they are not responding. I shipped my car in September 2010 and it is January 2011 now. The matter is still not solved.
