Do Not Use This Company!

I attempted to use this company for transporting three vehicles recently. I chose the company and paid them a deposit of $450.00 about mid May in good faith, with the pick-up date scheduled for June 2, 2011. On the day of the scheduled pick-up, I called Tom in customer service/dispatch and he informed me that he did not have a driver, but promised me that he should have one soon. We moved all of our other belongings on the 3rd and once arrived at our new town, had to rent a car. I spoke to Tom several times over the next week because our vehicles still had not been picked up and still all Tom could tell me was soon. Seven days after the scheduled pickup, I called Tom on the 9th to notify him that I was going to be changing companies, whereby he got extremely angry. When I asked about the $450.00 deposit refund, he informed me that he would have to send my request to accounting. I received an email from Tom on the 10th asking me if I wanted to cancel the pickup, which I responded to in the affirmative. July 1st, I received an email from Tom stating that they could not refund my deposit once I had cancelled before or after seven days of the scheduled pickup.

I have contacted Tom and explained my position and have failed to obtain my refund, which any company trying to maintain a good reputation would uphold.

On there website http//:autocarstransportation.com/, they have a bulleted list that claims they have:
-On time delivery
-Excellent customer service
-Expedited service
-Prompt service
...none of which I found with this company.

I think this company intentionally delays the pickup and once you cancel the service...they just made 450.00 (or whatever your deposit may be) without doing any work. If you value your time and money, I would recommend choosing a more reliable, honest auto car transport company.

Hi Anthony, First, YOU changed your original pick up date because on the day we were supposed to pick up one of your vehicles was not ready and was still in the repair shop. Second, your vehicles were going to WYOMING. What readers should take away from your experience is that if someone is going to an out of the way place there is not a carrier leaving every day. You were impatient and would not wait until the next carrier and you canceled on us.
