The reason I used Art and Auto Cargo Export was because I had read all of these glowing reviews, and felt he didn't do the bait and switch game that other car transporters did - where they tell you one price and then you get charged more at delivery. I communicated with Art quite a bit before signing with him, and he assured me his price would be THE price. I paid $100 deposit on my credit card and he told me my son could pay $820 in cash upon delivery. A truck was scheduled for a few days later. A competitor of ACE sent me a photo of my cars delivery price on a board that all the transporters use to schedule being $900. I texted Art and even sent him the photo and he assured me that the truck is scheduled for $820 and there would be no problem. The driver showed up as scheduled and I asked him about the COD amount and he said that they don't tell him that till right before delivery. At that point, I still trusted Art and thought everything would be fine. But low-and-behold, the driver arrives at my son's and said he couldn't release the car without $900 Now mind you, everytime I had communicated with Art in the past he responded immediately. But now, as we are trying to pay the quoted in writing $820 to get the car, Art is nowhere to be found. After multiple texts and calls to him, he finally responded to me "Sorry, I can't talk right now"."Can I call you later?" I said "no, my son's car is being held up because the guy wants $900.What are we supposed to do? Your invoice is 820". A few minutes later, another text from him saying "Sorry, I can't talk right now". I responded "This is your problem. I asked you over and over again if it was 820 and you said yes, now this guy wants 900". And guess what? Crickets. Until 2 hours later when he texted "Did he say why the extra was?" And I replied to him "No, he said his company was to collect $900 COD per your agreement with him. I have a feeling you guys do this all the time." And I believe they do. 2 hours later and that is how he responds after my frantic calls and texts. "Did he say why?" Seriously? Art should have been doing whatever it took to straighten it out if it was a mistake somewhere along the line and he didn't even try. Fortunately, my son stood his ground and refused to pay the extra money. Don't use this company. The price was good, but my son was at work,and could have gotten in trouble for all of the time lost, and I was in an important meeting and still trying to deal with this mess,, But Art could not be bothered. If you hire Auto Cargo Export, don't fall for this sketchy routine. Stand your ground and don't pay the extra!

shipment different that was described the car was filled with house hold and personal stuff, our policy is clear, can't use your car as a shipping container, we totally reject verbal abuse to our driver or reps customer complain is falsely fabricated to refuse and pay the driver for the extra weight.
