DON'T USE THIS BROKER. I STILL Havent Received the Voucher

I originally contacted “Around the Globe Auto Transport” to move my truck from Phoenix to Illinois (Chicago area). Their quote was lowest of several companies along with the promise of gas or grocery vouchers. The rep was pleasant and seemed to be knowledgeable. It was on a Tuesday afternoon. He said that there was a transport leaving Phoenix on that coming Friday and that there was room for my vehicle. Great! I booked with them and gave a $190 credit card deposit. The trucker was to contact me later that afternoon to make pickup arrangements and get directions.
Well, no call from the trucker. Thursday, I called Around the Globe Auto Transport customer service and was told that the trucker was behind schedule and would call soon. Friday came and went with NO contact from anyone. I called Around the Globe on Monday. They claimed that they were trying to set-up a transport and that the route was "FULL UP". Another week goes by. "We are trying to find a trucker to take your vehicle” "There aren’t many transports from Arizona to Illinois” Plenty of excuses at each call. After the 2nd week of this I finally got a call from Around the Globe. She claimed that they couldn’t get any truckers to take the truck at the price quoted. It would cost MORE MONEY for ANY transport company to consider this move. I reluctantly agreed with the promise of a " Double" gas voucher. THE PRICE HAS GONE FROM $710.00 to $1081.00.

Amazingly, that afternoon I got a call from a trucking company. From then on all went well. It took right about 3 weeks to get my truck. I feel like I am one of the lucky ones!

It is now 2 months later and I STILL DON'T HAVE THE VOUCHERS! I’ll never use “Around the Globe Auto Transport” again!
