This is the second time I have used Angels Moving Autos.

The first was to help my mother move her vintage Mercedes from CA to FL. That was about a year ago. Cost: $875.00. They picked up on time and arranged to have the vehicle stored for two weeks and delivered at no additional cost to coincide with my trip to accept delivery. The car was detailed before shipping and arrived completely filthy. (Obviously stored outside under a tree.) No damage, and arrived as promised, so no harm, no foul. A second detail was probably cheaper than storage anyway. At that point I only dealt with the carriers and not Angels directly.

As luck would have it a job transfer came through a year later, so I called Angels to transport my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Cost $1,075. (Gas prices, go figure.)

I dealt exclusively with Megan who is completely awesome.

The pick up was a little rough mostly because the drivers for the carrier (E&R Transport) could barely speak English. (Hello Megan? And she fixed it.)

Fast forward. I land in FL and come to find that my (former) bank has bought out Wachovia Bank and converted all their former branches to- wait for it- Wachovia Bank branches. Ironically they will not accept any of my deposits or withdrawals despite the fact they intend to convert them back to my (former) bank's branches in July. This makes it slightly difficult to get a cashiers check to get my Jeep on delivery. Add to this my credit cards are maxed out what with moving the wife, kids and 3,100 sq. ft of furniture 3,000 miles.... Hello Megan?

She- ironically- used to work for my (former) bank and ques me in on how and how much to withdraw the cash and then re-schedules the delivery an extra day. She also offered to set up a storage place with a repeat client (at no charge) until I can get the cash out to get the Jeep.

Anyway, got the cash, delivery comes in, carrier is paid. Megan is great!

If she doesn't get a pay raise I offered to hire her anytime she considers coming south and I pass the Bar exam down here.

Can't say enough about her. She was completely awesome in a very stressful situation.
