I contracted with Angels to move a new Volvo from Mississippi to Maryland in April 2007. They quoted me a price of $500 which I agreed to. A few days later they e-mailed me a contract for $700 or 40% more than I agreed to pay. I called them to cancel (since I had 14 other quotes for less than $700) and was told there would be a $200 cancellation fee since the carrier was picking the car up the next morning. The car was not picked up for another three days.
The only thing a company like Angels does is set the price and the time for delivery.Angels Moving Autos lied about both. Stay away from them. There are lots of other companies to choose from.
The sales manager from the dealership described the trucker as "surly" and arrived with a chip on his shoulder. The car left the dealership with 10 miles on the odometer and arrived at my house with 24. There were grease marks all over the white leather interior. The trucker didn't even try to get within 5 miles of my house even though there are several buisnesses on my road which use the same type of truck. He instead chose to unload my car on the side of a busy highway 1 on a saturday aftermoon. This while in sight of a truck stop and a parking lot which could easily accomadate his truck. He greeted me with "got some green for me?" Not what I'd call door to door service. Stay away.
