Happy with Angels

Angels is a broker so I'm rating only my experience with them as a broker and not as the actual transporter (Jolly Rogers Transport). I originally contacted Angels on a Friday morning and they promised to get back to me the same day with a quote for shipping. I didn't hear back until after the weekend on Monday. They actually had a driver from the tranport company on the phone with me Monday morning so I could interview him personally. Angels implied they had used this company before and their basic criteria is if they were not on their "do not use" list they were OK. Once I agreed to use the transport company Angels negotiated the fee with the tranporter for $100 less than they originally quoted me. The driver agreed to pick up the car the next day and have it out to me in a week. It didn't work out that way but that really had nothing to do with Angels. Angels' follow up wasn't exceptional but really not necessary since I had the driver's cell phone number and he was always available for me. But Angels did reply to an email I sent them asking for an update since the driver was late picking up the car and they called me a few days later advising me there were other delays. The car was dellivered a little dusty but unblemished and in good shape 13 days from my original contact with Angels. That's 3000 miles so I'm very happy with that even though it was promised to me in 7 days.

Angels' brokerage fee of $250 was higher than anyone else quoted me but I felt secure and at ease using them especially after reviewing their near sterling record here on this website. As it turned out their fee was a real value for me. Things can go wrong, of course, and promises can't always be kept but I think that's just the nature of this industry. I would use Angels again without hesitation.

In talking with Lee from Jolly Rogers Transport (870 821-0850) I found out he had mechanical problems with his truck he needed to take care of which, understandably caused the delay. Had he not had the problems I believe he would have delivered the car pretty close to the original estimate. I could always get ahold of him on the phone whenever I wanted an update and the car arrived in perfect shape. He was very coridial and professional. I have no complaints about the delays and would recommend him to anyone.
