All is OK in the end

We used this web site to review car transportation agents, then to generate quotes. While Angels was not the lowest bid, they were reasonable and we went with them based on their rating and prior customer contacts.
We had perhaps an unusual situation in that we were physically relocating to Florida fromLas Vegas and that the trip would take us a minimum of 4 days, so, we needed to set a specific "no earlier than" delivery date.
When we contacted Angels, they checked with one of their transporters and said that they would be in the LV area on the requested pick-up date, and would abide by the "earliest delivery date". We then agreed to the contract with them and put down a deposit of $150.
Things began falling apart when their carrier called 7 days earlier than the agreed date and said they were ready to pick up the car. After we relayed the dates we had agreed upon with Angels, they said they would contact them. That's the last we heard from this carrier.
When we got within 4 days of the agreed pickup date and we had not heard anything further, we called Angels. Unfortunately,Emily was not in and the other agent we talked to sounded like she had no record of our contract, but she would check into it and call us back. The next day (a Saturday) when she hadn't called back, we called Angels but only got an answering machine that they dion't work on the weekends.
On Monday, we finanlly connected and found out that they had lined up another carrier and he could pick up either Monday or Tuesday (our last day in Vegas) and they agreed to the delivery in FL on the following Monday.
The carrier later called that day and made the pickup that afternoon. When we got to FL on Saturday we called the carrier to see if everything was on for Monday's delivery. To our surprise they said they wanted to deliver our car that day, even though we weren't yet physically in our new house. We agreed to a Sunday delivery, even though it was the same day as the movers were unloading our furniture.
In the end, all worked out OK but my issue with Angels was that for 3 days we couldn't get an answer, and time was running out.
I think if they are going to be a major player in this business they need to improve their information systems, and have customer support on the weekend.
