The carrier that transported by car tried to deliver my car 2 days earlier than was stipulated in my contract. The problem with this was that I had not yet arrived at my new home in California. It was not only in my contract but I had told the driver when he picked up the car the day I would be arriving. Still I received a phone call before I had even left Illinois saying that my car was ready to pick up in San Diego. Needless to say, I was not happy. The good news is Angels Moving Autos called me repeatedly to check on my transport status and eventually worked out a solution with the carrier. My car was dropped off at a storage facility where I had to pay for storage for three days and make a special trip (about an hour drive) to pick it up. I was told by Angels Moving autos that I would be receiving 2 checks (1/2 from the carrier and 1/2 from Angels) to reimburse me for the cost of storing my car. It has been over a month now since my move and I have not received checks from either of them....We will see if either the carrier or Angels Moving Autos is true to their word. If not, then I may have to reconsider my overall rating.
