I bought a car in the internet from out of state. The dealership assigned my car to be transported by Angels Moving Autos. The early communication was good. They gave me a good idea of when to expect my car. Everything was fine until I received the call that my car was going to be delivered the next day. The earlier instructions said to expect a call 2 days prior to delivery. The issue was I needed to be available to be home when the car was being delivered. The day of delivery I had an appointment to sell my old car. The representative I talked to at Angels told me to expect delivery after 1:00 in the afternoon. I changed my previous appointment to the morning so I would be home for the 1:00 or so delivery time. There was a window of a couple of hours and the delivery driver would call me prior to him arriving. I also had an issue with the rep who called me in that she was hard to understand. Her English was poor and I had to have her repeat what she was saying. I understood her to say that the delivery truck was a large semi so I had to assure her the truck had room enough to unload the car. There is plenty of room in the front of my building. On the day of delivery I went to my appointment in the morning at 10:00. While in the process of dealing with the car dealer I get a call that the driver would be at my house in an hour. I told him I wasn’t home I was expecting him at 1:00 based on the conversation the previous day. He wasn’t happy and was very rude on the phone. I just couldn’t leave my appointment so I told him I would do my best to get back to my place in an hour. He also asked me if there was a lot near my place he could drop the car off at. I told him I didn’t really know but there would be room for his truck outside my building. Again he was rude. In an hour he called to tell me he had arrived and wanted to know where I was. I told him I would be there in 15 minutes. He kept saying he told me he would be there why wasn’t I there. I made it to my place in less than 15 minutes and there was no truck. I called the driver and he told me he wouldn’t deliver in the front of my building. He was on the side of a busy street near the building. I had to go looking for him. I found him and the car was already unloaded. I wanted to inspect the car as best as I could. He kept pushing for me to finish. I was told not to let the driver rush the inspection by the email I received prior to the delivery. Here I was in a busy street trying my best to make sure the car didn’t have anything wrong with it. The driver was just so impatient I finally signed off on the delivery and he left. The experience was not at all what I expected and if I had the chance I wouldn’t have used this companies services. Treating a customer rudely is not a good practice.
