On May 27, 2004, I contacted Angel's Moving Autos to arrange transport of my new Rolls Royce from Maryland to my home in Utah. The price was for $875.00, of that $150 was paid immediately to Angel's through my Credit Card. The reference number is 1982. They were unwilling to commit to a pickup or delivery date which was somewhat acceptable to me. I thought it might take a couple of weeks and that was okay. After a month (on June 27th) with no pickup or any word from them, I called to cancel the contract. I was told by a secretary that I would be refunded $100.00 of my original $150.00 because they were going to keep $50.00 for administrative fees. When I asked why, I was told that I would have to speak to Dina, the owner, who was too busy at the moment. I was told that she would call me back. She didn't. Over the next weekend, I flew to Maryland and drove my Rolls home. I called again when I returned (I forget the exact date), and Dina was not in, but was told that she would call me as soon as she got in. She didn't. I then sent an email asking for clarification of the administrative fee policy and got no response. I called again a couple of days later and was told that Dina was in court and that whe would call me back. She didn't (shocking!). I called again on July 11th,which was exactly two weeks after I initially called to ask for a refund. Dina actually answered the phone. She explained that as per the contract I signed (I never signed a contract), that all cancellations would be subject to a $50.00 fee. I questioned this (and was not very nice about it) and accused them of lowballing my transport quote for the express purpose of stealing $50.00. As it turns out, $875.00 is an extremely low figure to transport a car clear across the country - no wonder they couldn't find a driver to agree to take delivery of the car. These were all things I didn't know at the time. Anyway, Dina denied being a thief and said she would refund my money immediately. She didn't. I have continued to email her every Tuesday (and will continue to do so until I get my money back or I die) to ask about my refund and she has responed only once, saying that my refund is coming and I should stop being so angry. Well, it's been six weeks now since the first refund request phone call (ten weeks since I first paid) and I still don't have my refund. I am now taking this matter up with the Redding/Sacramento BBB. I AM angry and I wish a pox upon her, her progeny and all of her employees, yea, even unto seven generations. Amen.

To consumers This industry is one of the toughest to work in. We strive to do our best here, however there are times when you just cannot please some people. We did our best to remain polite after being called names and threatened, some individuals assume a Rolls Royce is more important than the human spirit. We have apologized to Mr. Opfar that his car was not moved quick enough for his needs, however after the demeaning comments, and threats to our office, we found no reason to continue with any correspondance. Our records do not match the accusations listed above, but I am not about to enter into a arguing match. Our reputation with our dealers and customers speak for itself. We wish Mr. Opfar the best and are looking forward to those emails every Tuesday!!
