So, the driver picked up in Las Cruces, NM. He was friendly enough to help me troubleshoot my CB radio ( I gave comm check good! Trucker said my comms good, "Perfecto, per~~~fecto!").

The driver left with my pick-up and we left a day later (enroute King George, VA).

Five days later we were headed up the interstate into VA and received a call from the driver. We quickly realized that we and the driver (with our vehicular cargo) were very close in proximity, by chance alone. In fact, we took the very next exit to a truck stop just south of Fredericksburg, VA and our driver was there with our POV. We used our CB radio to contact the driver within the truck stop grounds, and we agreed on a final stop, just a few miles north, at a Wal-Mart in Fredericksburg,... about 15 minutes into the final trek to destination my 7 year old son said he needed to pee so we CB radio'd the driver ahead of us that we were peeling off off for a "pit stop" and that we'd be at rendezvous within a reasonable time; trucker replied, "Ok."

By the time we arrived at the "Wally World" the driver and his pal had offloaded my pick-up, offered me a bottle of small batch tequila and his daughter for marriage and (scratch the part about the tequila and his daughter) and the business was finalized.
