We had originally contracted with another auto broker, but they were never able to find anyone to transport the car. We were told there was a huge backlog of cars awaiting transport from California and that due to the high fuel cost, drivers were mainly doing the LA to Dallas route and only coming down to San Diego when it would be worth their time. We ended up leaving the car in a rented garage in San Diego after the moving van had picked up our household belongings for transport to our new home. We had no idea who, when, or even if the car would be picked up.

After waiting for seven days with the first company who never showed, we contacted Angels who also tried to provide transport for the car. After another six days, we had pretty much given up hope and were going to fly back to San Diego to get the car and drive it ourselves to Texas. But literally at the last minute, Angels finally found a transport and we were saved that trip. They truly were angels who saved us a long and painful trip. After the pickup, the car arrived in a very short time and in good condition. We were very happy with their service, but very unhappy with the entire brokering process that seems to be totally unregulated and with little or no oversight. There needs to be a better process as this was incredibly stressful.
