good service only after I made followup call

Initial contact with company was prompt and positive. Phone quote exceeded internet quote, but the company gave good advance notice that this could be expected. Once phone quote was established, I was assured that this would be a firm price. I placed the order with the 5-7 pickup day window starting on May 10. At the end of 7 days, I had heard nothing from the company. When I called to ask what was going on, I was told that the representative who had been helping me had been on vacation, but apparently no-one else had been asked to follow up on my order. I was then told that since there had been so many pickups in Phoenix (100 miles away from my pickup location) that they were having trouble getting a carrier to come to TUcson, as they had no room for additional pickups. It was suggested that I offer the carrier a $125 "incentive fee" to schedule a Tucson pickup. I insisted that, as I had been assured that my phone quote was a firm price, that any extra fees should be paid by Angels--not by me. They ultimately agreed to pay the incentive fee themselves, and found a carrier to pickup the car. The pickup was scheduled for May 22nd, and from that point on all went very well. I was pleased to be given the driver's cell phone so that I could stay in touch with him directly re: delivery.
Overall, not a terrible experience, and I would consider using again, but I do think that I should have been notified after the 7 day pickup window had passed without a carrier even being assigned.
