I know Angels is not responsible for the transport company's issues. However, how is a consumer to know what transport company to call and whom to use that is reliable. This is why we use brokers. This review is on Odessa and Angels. Angels was fine until there was a problem. Minor customer service issue with Angels.
Odessa the transport company used by Angels did not meet my expectations. He drove right by my town the day he was to drop off my van. He called me to tell me he drove by my exit and was on his way to Miami, he forgot to drop off my van. When I called Angels, the person I spoke to thought it was funny. I am not paying $1,600.00 to be laughed at, it wasn't funny to me. I also find out that my van was driven by Odessa without my permission. Thirty six (36) miles was put on my van. I called Angels to talk about the added 36 miles. Apparently if you have a grievance, you cannot talk more than 10 minutes, because other customers are waiting and need help as well. I was told that rehashing the issue was not going to solve the problem, true as that may be, trying to get my point across was almost futile. I was told I should not have accepted my van at night. So now it seems as though it was my fault. I took it at that time because Odessa told me they were going back to Washington. I did not want him to miss my exit again. When day light came I went to wash my van to find long minor scratches along the driver side near the top.
I was asked by Angels did I look at the bill of lading. I did but it was night and with a flash light you cannot see everything. Those scratches are not noted on the bill of lading. Now with Odessa driving my van 36 miles and it was scratched. Oh and Odessa tells me when I pick up my van, "It stayed up there the whole time" really Odessa it did?!
