I chose Angels Moving Autos because of the excellent reviews they got on this web site. I got a job halfway across the country and had to move on very little notice and was worried it wasn't enough time to ship my car. I called a little over 2 weeks before I needed my car in Wisconsin and was assured they could get it there in time as long as I put in my reservation that day. I did, and was told my pick up window would be Oct 1-3, and my car would be in Wisconsin at the latest on the 3. This is where their excellent customer service fell apart. I called on October 2 because I hadn't heard anything from them and they said they were still working on getting me a carrier and would call first thing in the morning of Oct. 3. I didn't hear anything from anyone, so I finally called in the afternoon and was told I still did not have a carrier but they would get the person handling my case to call me back. Around 6PM (eastern time) I still had not received a call back, so I finally called them and found out I still had no carrier. I then asked to cancel my reservation because I would not have a car there in time. They informed me that it would be a $50 charge unless I waited until after my pick up window (AKA the next day). I called and cancelled in the morning and they were extremely apologetic...but this is not an acceptable way to run your business. I should have been informed about the trouble with finding a carrier earlier so that I could have planned accordingly. Now, I need to cancel my (non-refundable) plane ticket and drive 20 hours, by myself, over the course of 2 days.
