Angels Moving Autos (or at least one person working for them) does not practice ethical business.

Second time using Angel Moving. (First time was a very good experience. Honda from CA to MI).

This second time, the driver was different (presumably different contracted driver).
My car is white and there were drips of oil on the roof and hood. Not a big deal, but annoying.
Then I noted a metallic object on my moonroof. It was a threaded nut, but large about the size of a silver dollar. What made it even more annoying was that the truck driver made it seem like it was no big deal. This is not what I expect as even average customer service. Again, I was annoyed and just wanted to take my car to the car wash. So I signed the papers and took my car to carwash. At that point realized that the nut might have cause some damage. Looked at the moonroof and saw a stellate shaped crack. It was not a complete crack through the window. No water was leaking, but I was concerned that the winter weather would worsen the crack.

So I called the driver the next day and asked to speak to his manager. He basically laughed at me and said there was no way he would pay for the glass to be fixed.

Next I called Angels Moving Autos. They basically were of no help and didn't really make any sort of effort to contact the contracted driver to mediate the situation. I thought they could at least do that. Unfortunately for me, I didn't initially think the metallic nut would cause much damage and signed the papers to receive my car.

In the end:
The moonroof glass crack did not get worse in the winter.
Learned my lesson to THOROUGHLY inspect your car before signing the papers to receive it.
The contracted truck drivers are hit-or-miss via Angels Moving Autos.

ADDENDUM:
*** Of note, the transport happened in 2009 and I was over all of the hassle. Put it behind me. Never left a bad review on this website. Only recently have I received multiple emails from Angels Moving Autos requesting a review for their service...... from back in 2009! So I left an HONEST review. Next day, I get an email from Admin at transportreviews.com telling me:

"This email is to let you know your review was removed from our site at www.transportreviews.com. The reason for removal is that Angels Moving Autos is unable to locate your order and has no way of proving that you are a customer of theirs."

Are you kidding me! So now I have to take my time to contact transportreviews.com with domuments showing I was a real customer. Luckily I saved all my correspondences. And the review was reposted. Remember, they ASKED ME to leave a review. And then when it was not positive, they tried to have it removed. Angels Moving Autos (or at least one person working for them) does not practice ethical business. So because of that, I felt I needed to add this addendum and repeat it in the first line of the review.

Also, old email shows that the contracted driver was from Ellesse Transport Inc. out of Mount Prospect, IL.

Dear Jay - Yes, two years later you are posting a review. However, your version of the facts is different from ours. Our records show that you report a spiderweb crack on your moon roof. You contacted us 2 days after the car was delivered regarding the crack, you signed your inspection sheet on delivery that your car arrived with no damage. We make it very clear that we can only assist on damages when the inspection sheet has been filled out properly clearly noting the damage. We are sorry the insurance company would not accept the claim, however, the procedures are necessary to protect carrier from false claims. YOU NEEDED TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY FOR US TO BE ABLE TO PROTECT AND HELP YOU!!!!!!! Also, your order was so old, our system did not recognize it and it kicked out the non-customer email.
